Is it safe?

Yes! Electrolysis permanent hair removal is safer than tweezing or using chemicals. Tweezing hairs can cause them to grow deeper, darker and more firmly rooted. Each time a hair is tweezed out part of the follicle is tweezed out too. This encourages the hairs re-growth to be tougher than tweezing. Chemicals or “depilatories” can cause skin irritation, rashes or even chemical burns. Chemical hair removers can also remove your tan. (Natural or sunless,) and leave you with a noticeably uneven skin tone. Electrology permanent hair removal safely and permanently removes each hair without disturbing the surrounding skin. 

Electrolysis vs. Laser  

According to the FDA, Electrology is the ONLY existing permanent method of hair removal with no long term side effects. Laser hair removal promoters use terms such as “permanent reduction” to describe what is in most cases only proven a temporary method of hair removal. Laser hair removal is still a relatively new science and has not been evaluated for long-term safety of skin and health. Side effects of laser hair removal can be: blistering, hyper pigmentation first degree burns, swelling, redness, pain and serious scabbing that can result is scarring.
